Call for 2019 FFI award nominations

Nominate a Club or Member for a Friendship Force Award!

At the heart of Friendship Force International are 365 clubs in 63 countries, hosting and traveling with the goal of building peace through friendship. As the world changes around us, clubs and members like you continue to find new ways to reach potential members, experiment with innovative approaches to Journeys, and contribute extraordinary efforts of time and talent to make sure Friendship Force shines. The impact of these efforts goes well beyond what words can express, but when we can, we should take time to celebrate these accomplishments together. This year, in our lead up to the 2019 World Conference in Boulder, we invite you to nominate yourself or others to be recognized. Do not worry if your nomination doesn’t fit neatly in a category – just tell us about the club, person, or experience you believe is deserving of recognition, and our team of volunteers will take it from there. Please take a look at the links below for a detailed blog post about the awards process revision, a Frequently Asked Question document, and the 2019 Award Nomination Form, due January 15, 2019. I hope you will consider sharing some accomplishments and successes with us in this year’s award nomination process. I would love to hear the story, and I’m confident others would as well.

In friendship,
Jeremi Snook President and CEO

A great start to #GivingTuesday

November 27, 2018
On this #GivingTuesday, we hope that you will help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 to support our clubs, develop leaders, and create new opportunities for friendship around the world! Friendship Force is proud to announce that Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., former FFI Board Chair, Chairman Emeritus of 100 Black Men of America, Inc., and President and Chief Executive Officer of TWD, Inc., has graciously donated $1,000 towards our #GivingTuesday efforts! Thanks to Mr. Dortch’s generosity, we are already closer to our goal! Mr. Dortch understands the importance of Friendship Force in today’s climate, as well as what is required for our organization to continue growing and creating change in the world. His challenge to all of our members is to contribute on this global day of giving, at any level, and play an integral part in Friendship Force’s future.
