FF NM has an outbound journey, May 20-27 to the Penticton-Okanagan FF club in British Columbia, Canada.
Penticton has a climate similar to that of Napa Valley, California; there are numerous vineyards in the area and the journey includes visits to some wineries.
The NK’Mip First Nation Band has a reserve in the area and a visit to learn about their history and traditional culture is part of the journey.
The journey also includes a visit to a Japanese garden, an art museum, and a farmers’ market.
There will be sign-up sheets at the January lunch or you can indicate your interest in participating in this journey by e-mailing Cheryl Lehmberg.
