New FF club
Greetings – I have good news regarding a new Friendship Force club!!! Judi Smith, Field Rep for Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies, announced that Ketchikan, Alaska has a NEW FF CLUB and their official name is: Friendship Force of Southeast and Eastern Alaska Judi Smith flew to Ketchikan and assisted Cathy Cooley, well known in the area, by recruiting 13 new members; three volunteered to be officers. The new club is planning their first inbound with Moscow. Ketchikan has many wonderful resources of things to do and the salmon will be running when they have their first inbound. This is one more great FFI opportunity to travel to Alaska and welcome them to the U.S. I’ll be attending the Western Regional Super Conference in California first of May along with others from our region. This conference will offer stimulating workshops for all attendees and a special presentation titled “Citizens of a Global Community” by the keynote speaker, Joy Justus, World Relief Sacramento. Thank you. Sue Palmer, Field Rep – Rocky Mountain Region
